Description

Designed for Long-Term Outdoor Exposure

product-800-800

The galvanized angle steel tower combines an angle steel lattice structure with full hot-dip galvanized protection. It is intended for transmission line projects that operate outdoors for long periods and require a clearly defined corrosion protection solution.

The tower can be configured as a tangent, tension, angle, terminal, or crossing tower. Single-circuit, double-circuit, and multi-circuit arrangements are available. Project parameters can cover line conditions from 0.4kV to 750kV, while overseas designs can follow the local voltage level and project requirements.

The company's main transmission tower manufacturing scope is 500kV and below. The final supply voltage, applicable qualifications, and technical requirements are confirmed against the project documents.

Galvanizing and Environmental Adaptation

The main materials can include Q235B, Q355B, or Q345B. Q420B can be selected for higher-load structures. Materials specified by the project or required by local standards may also be considered.

After fabrication, the complete steel components are hot-dip galvanized. The regular zinc coating thickness is at least 85 μm. For coastal, humid, salt-spray, or other corrosive locations, enhanced corrosion protection can be discussed during technical confirmation.

This allows the protection requirements for main steel members, bolts, and exposed parts to be matched with the actual installation environment. The final zinc coating thickness and inspection requirements remain subject to the technical documents of each project.

Wind, Ice, and Seismic Design Conditions

Common nominal tower heights range from 12 to 36 meters. Unequal-leg structures can be produced for mountain foundations or sites with different elevations.

The line angle can be designed from 0 to 90 degrees. Typical horizontal spans are 250–500 meters, and typical vertical spans are 300–600 meters. Structural design can consider basic wind speeds of 23.5 m/s, 27 m/s, or 31 m/s.

Ice conditions can be configured for light ice of 5–10 mm, medium ice of 15–20 mm, or heavy ice of 20–50 mm. Seismic conditions can be designed according to site intensities of 6–8 degrees. These parameters are reviewed together with tower function, circuit arrangement, and foundation conditions.

Controlled Fabrication and Export Packaging

product-1000-750
  • The galvanized angle steel tower uses grade 6.8 or grade 8.8 high-strength bolts. Steel cutting and hole processing are completed in the factory, and site installation is mainly performed by bolted assembly.

  • The company maintains ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems. Production control includes process self-inspection, semi-finished product sampling, and packaging inspection. Third-party inspection can also be arranged by the customer.
  • Export orders receive secondary reinforcement after normal packing. This helps reduce loose bundles, mixed components, and transport damage. Production updates can be shared through photos or videos. The product includes a two-year warranty, with after-sales support for transport damage and replacement parts when required.
