Clear Four-Leg Structural Arrangement

The four leg tubular lattice tower uses four main tubular support legs combined with lattice members. This arrangement creates a clearly defined tower body, base width, and leg position.
The tower can be used for tangent, tension, angle, terminal, and crossing positions. Crossarms and conductor attachment points can be configured for single-circuit, double-circuit, or multi-circuit transmission lines.
The line angle can be designed between 0 and 90 degrees. Total height, base width, crossarm length, and individual leg dimensions are determined according to the tower position and foundation layout.
This structural form is suitable for plains, mountainous lines, and sites where the four foundations have different elevations.
Unequal Legs and Foundation Coordination
Common nominal heights range from 12 to 36 meters. Unequal-leg designs allow individual tower legs to match different foundation levels on sloping ground.
Typical horizontal spans are 250–500 meters, and typical vertical spans are 300–600 meters. The structure can support LGJ-185, 240, 300, 400, and 500 conductors. GJ steel strand or OPGW optical ground wire can be included in the line configuration.
Each of the four legs can be identified according to the tower position and foundation location. During production, the main columns, crossarms, lattice members, and connection parts are grouped according to tower number, leg position, and component specification.
Different tower heights, circuits, and leg combinations may be produced within the same project order.
Steel Grades and Environmental Loads
The four leg tubular lattice tower can use Q235B, Q355B, or Q345B steel. Q420B can be selected for heavy-load tower types. Project-specified materials may also be used.
Structural parameters can cover basic wind speeds of 23.5 m/s, 27 m/s, and 31 m/s. Ice thickness can range from 5 to 50 mm for light, medium, or heavy ice conditions. Seismic design can be configured for site intensities of 6–8 degrees.
Steel tube and matching components are cut and processed by laser drilling or punching. Connections use grade 6.8 or grade 8.8 high-strength bolts.
The structure receives full hot-dip galvanizing. The regular zinc coating thickness is at least 85 μm, while stronger protection can be specified for coastal and high-salt-spray areas.
Multi-Tower Production and Packing Control

- Shandong Hongtaiyuan Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd. supports production according to customer drawings or physical prototypes. OEM and ODM services are available.
- The company has its own research and development team. Technical, production planning, and quality personnel coordinate the four-leg dimensions, unequal-leg combinations, and complete component sets.
- The minimum order quantity is 1 ton. Different models or dimensions can be combined in one order.Process self-inspection and semi-finished product sampling are carried out during manufacturing. Component quantity and matching parts are checked again during packaging.
- Production progress can be reported by photos or videos. Export packing receives additional reinforcement to support projects containing multiple tower types, leg combinations, and delivery batches.
