Tower Anchor Bolts

Tower anchor bolts connect a tower base flange or steel base plate to a concrete foundation. They form an important load-transfer connection between the tower body and the foundation.

 

During operation, the bolts may be subjected to tower self-weight, wind load, axial tension, shear force, and overturning moment. Bolt diameter, total length, threaded section, and anchoring end are therefore configured according to tower height, base flange hole arrangement, base plate thickness, embedment depth, and structural load.

 

The product can be used for industrial towers, structural steel towers, lighting towers, monitoring towers, chimney support towers, sign towers, and other tall steel structures with base flanges.

Thread sizes range from M24 to M100. Total length can be customized from 500 to 5000 mm according to the foundation design. Imperial UNC or UNF threads are also available.

Strength classes include grade 5.8, grade 8.8, and grade 10.9. ASTM F1554 Grade 36, Grade 55, or Grade 105 can also be selected.

Available anchoring structures include straight rods, L-shaped bolts, J-shaped bolts, anchor plate types, and double-ended threaded types. Each form can be matched with the tower base flange, foundation dimensions, embedment requirements, and structural load.

Surface treatment options include plain finish, rust-preventive oil, hot-dip galvanizing, zinc-aluminum coating, or a project-specified coating.

Tower anchor bolts can be supplied with heavy hex nuts, flat washers, anchor plates, and positioning templates. Thread length and anchoring structure are configured to provide the required space for flange installation, elevation adjustment, washer placement, and nut tightening.

Large-diameter and high-load products can use alloy structural steel. Heat treatment may be applied to achieve the required mechanical properties.

For outdoor foundations, hot-dip galvanizing or combined corrosion protection can be used. Exposed threaded sections, nuts, washers, and anchor plates can receive matching protection so that the complete connection has a coordinated surface treatment system.

Complete supply also helps keep the bolt threads, nuts, template holes, and flange positions consistent.
