Heavy Foundation Connection for Circular Base Flanges
Steel pole anchor bolts are mainly used for transmission steel poles, telecom monopoles, urban landscape towers, high-mast lighting poles, monitoring poles, traffic sign poles, and other steel structures with circular base flanges.
A steel pole transfers self-weight, wind load, and overturning moment to the concrete foundation through its bottom flange. The anchor bolts must therefore provide stable axial capacity, accurate bolt circle positioning, and reliable thread engagement.
The complete anchor system is designed according to the base flange diameter, number of flange holes, bolt circle dimensions, foundation embedment depth, and required installation elevation.
Large Sizes and High-Strength Options
Thread sizes cover M24–M100, while total lengths range from 600 to 4000 mm. Strength classes include grade 8.8 and grade 10.9. ASTM F1554 Grade 55 or Grade 105 can also be selected.
The installation structure may use individual anchor bolts, upper and lower template assemblies, or a complete anchor bolt cage.
Matching parts can include heavy hex nuts, leveling nuts, flat washers, anchor plates, and positioning templates. These parts support foundation embedment, flange leveling, washer installation, and double-nut locking.
Large-diameter or high-load products can use alloy steel. Quenching and tempering may be applied to achieve the required mechanical properties.
Bolt Circle Accuracy and Cage Stability
Upper and lower templates, together with connecting supports, maintain the distance between multiple bolts, the bolt circle diameter, and the relative position of each threaded rod.
The thread length is configured according to the required leveling space, flange thickness, washer thickness, and locking nut arrangement.
A complete bolt cage can be preassembled in the factory. For larger foundation systems, modular packing can be used to suit transport vehicle dimensions, road access, lifting conditions, and site assembly requirements.
This flexibility allows the foundation assembly to remain coordinated while adapting to practical delivery and construction conditions.
