Anchor Bolt Cage Assemblies

Anchor bolt cage assemblies combine multiple anchor bolts, upper and lower positioning templates, nuts, washers, support rods, and reinforcement components into one foundation unit.

They are used for large towers, steel pole structures, communication towers, transmission towers, high-mast lighting poles, substation frames, industrial steel columns, and heavy equipment foundations.

The templates and support structure hold the bolt spacing, bolt circle diameter, and relative bolt positions before concrete is poured. This makes the complete assembly easier to position and check as one unit.

The cage can be preassembled in the factory. Large assemblies can also be supplied in modular sections and assembled at the construction site according to transport and lifting conditions.

Individual anchor bolt sizes range from M20 to M120. Each assembly can contain 4–160 bolts, depending on the foundation design.

The bolt circle or overall assembly diameter can range from 300 to 5000 mm. Positioning template thickness ranges from 6 to 30 mm and is selected according to the assembly diameter, bolt quantity, and required rigidity.

Assembly height can range from 300 to 5000 mm. Multiple positioning template levels or intermediate supports may be included.

Upper and lower templates control rod verticality and hole alignment. Support rods and reinforcement members help maintain the overall shape during handling, lifting, and concrete vibration.

A standard assembly may include anchor bolts, upper templates, lower templates, adjusting nuts, fixing nuts, flat washers, anchor plates, support rods, thread protectors, and installation labels.

Center marks, direction reference lines, and foundation numbers can be added to support positioning and site inspection.

For large assemblies, detachable templates, sectional transport, or site-assembly designs can be used. These methods help the cage fit available vehicles, access roads, and lifting equipment while maintaining the required bolt circle and hole arrangement.
