Double Circuit Steel Pole

The double circuit steel pole is designed to carry two power circuits on the same tubular pole structure. The crossarm arrangement, conductor positions, and attachment points for both circuits are coordinated with the pole height, line angle, and foundation conditions.

 

The pole can be configured for tangent, tension, angle, terminal, or crossing positions. It may also be used at branch and transposition locations when required by the project.

 

Different heights and crossarm combinations can be produced for different tower positions along the same line. This makes the product suitable for projects that require a clearly defined double-circuit arrangement within a limited transmission corridor.

Common nominal heights include 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, and 36 meters. Unequal-leg designs can be used according to terrain and foundation elevation.

The line angle can range from 0 to 90 degrees. Typical horizontal spans are 250–500 meters, while typical vertical spans are 300–600 meters.

The double circuit steel pole can support LGJ-185, 240, 300, 400, and 500 conductors. GJ steel strand or OPGW optical ground wire may be used for the ground wire configuration.

Structural design can include basic wind speeds of 23.5 m/s, 27 m/s, or 31 m/s. Ice thickness can range from 5 to 50 mm. Seismic requirements can be configured according to site intensities of 6–8 degrees.

The main steel can be Q235B, Q355B, or Q345B. Q420B may be selected for heavy-load products. Steel required by project-country standards can also be used.

Components are processed by factory cutting, laser drilling, or punching. Grade 6.8 or grade 8.8 high-strength bolts are used for connection. Site installation is completed through bolted assembly.

The pole body and crossarms receive full hot-dip galvanizing. The regular zinc coating thickness is at least 85 μm. Enhanced protection can be specified for coastal and salt-spray locations.

• Repeat orders can use previously confirmed drawings and process documents to simplify production preparation. Inspection points are included during fabrication, semi-finished product handling, and packaging. Third-party inspection is accepted, and photos or videos can be provided during production.

• Commercial terms for large orders can be discussed according to the actual quantity. EXW and FOB are the preferred trade terms, and USD settlement is supported. Reinforced export packaging and a two-year warranty are provided.
